Avoiding Burnout Webinar

Avoiding Burnout Webinar

How can we serve joyfully and sustainably when the demands of our context feel overwhelming?

We know that leaders and social action teams have been tirelessly working through the pandemic, and the demands of church life are now greater than ever.

With this in mind, we are running an Avoiding Burnout Webinar (this event is available to those who have signed up to our Partner Church Scheme).  This training is open to as many members of your Partner Church as you feel would benefit, so please do share widely among volunteers and servers.

During this one-hour webinar we will be hearing from Corin Pilling, who - before becoming the UK Director of Sanctuary (a Christian mental health charity) - spent twenty years running projects supporting the homeless in and around London.

Prior to his current role, Corin also led Livability's Community Engagement work, providing churches with training on community development, disability, wellbeing and dementia.

Corin is well placed to offer support and guidance on mental health and wellbeing, and comes with an understanding of some of the complexities of working alongside those experiencing poverty, substance dependence and mental health challenges themselves.

As we face rising need over the coming year, and fatigue sets in from the the previous two, this is an opportunity to recalibrate and reassess.

If you're keen to keep going for the long-haul, and maintain or develop a more healthy mindset as you serve, do consider booking in.

To sign up for this free webinar click here (you will need your unique Partner Church code to register).
