#CTCC22 Watch Parties

#CTCC22 Watch Parties

Our Churches that Change Communities conference is fast approaching, and we're glad once again to be running a hybrid version of this annual event.

Though we're keen to welcome as many in-person delegates as possible, we are aware that there will be some who are unable to make the physical journey to Milton Keynes this November.

Lets be honest for a moment. It can be hard to stay focused and envisioned while watching online, without a sense of community experience.

If you're a significant distance from Milton Keynes and unable to travel, why not consider hosting a Churches that Change Communities watch party?

Last year watch parties hosted around the country enabled conference delegates to worship, learn, discuss, pray and eat together.

If you have a group of social activists, or perhaps church members looking in from the sidelines (but unsure where they fit) could you use this as a team-building opportunity?

The conference day runs on Saturday 12th November from 10am-5.15pm. Online delegates with be able to join with worship (led by the New Life, Milton Keynes band) and watch Natalie Williams and Bishop Lynne Cullen's keynote addresses. In livestreamed seminars from the main hall Sylvia Ampaw will be considering how best we respond to people in emotional distress, and Simon Elliott will be exploring how we can help others without hurting ourselves. Online delegates are also welcome to choose from a selection of nine pre-recorded seminars on the day.

We would recommend getting together in a comfortable room in a home or church building (anywhere quiet with a decent wifi connection!) and nominating somebody to organise coffee and pastries. If you are located within striking distance of another Newfrontiers church, or other churches in your community where social action is a priority, why not consider joining forces, and building connections with another team?

Tickets are £30 per person (whether online or in-person) with £5 subsidised tickets available to those experiencing financial hardship.

For those hosting larger watch parties a flat fee of £300 is available (and allows an unlimited number of delegates to gather). To take advantage of this offer simply select the watch party option on our booking site.

Do reach out to us @JubileePlus on Twitter if you're hosting, as we'd love to keep in touch with you and your Watch Party on the day!
