What does it look like to serve the least in our communities as Jesus commanded?
This week Natalie Williams and Chris Duerden fly out to North America to serve churches keen to answer this question.
They begin their trip by speaking at the Together Northeast conference, an event encouraging churches to grow in love for the towns and cities in which they are based, and to demonstrate this in word and deed as they reach out to the vulnerable and marginalised.
Throughout the weekend, Nat and Chris will help delegates explore both the why and the how of living this out.
How do we move toward people in our everyday lives? How do we build churches that don’t just serve from a distance, but genuinely welcome, include, and walk alongside those in need? And how do we cultivate communities where everyone has a place to belong?
After spending Sunday with Newfrontiers Church venues in Portsmouth and Dover, the pair will make the long roadtrip north to visit Christ Central Church in Fredericton, Canada. This Jubilee+ partner church has partnered with us for many years, and it's a privilege to visit and equip their team as part of this trip.
Please be praying for safe travel, for the Spirit to move as the Word is taught and for delegates and teams in this region to be blessed and encouraged as they take training home to local contexts.
