Jubilee+ media round-up

After Work and Pensions Secretary Amber Rudd admitted in the House of Commons on Monday that the rise in Foodbank use is linked to the rollout of Universal Credit, Jubilee+ was invited to comment in several national news outlets.

Head of Communications Natalie Williams was interviewed because she runs a major foodbank in Ms Rudd's Hastings constituency and has also met with the minister and presented her with a list of suggestions from Jubilee+ for improving Universal Credit.

Here's a round-up of where you can read or listen to her latest comments:

TWR UK: A short clip of Natalie's interview is available on the TWR Soundclound page. The full interview will be aired this Saturday, 16 February 2019, on the Newsdesk programme. Available for one week.

BBC Radio 4: Natalie spoke on the PM programme. Listen from 49 minutes in. Available for 28 days.

BBC Radio 5 Live: Natalie was invited onto the Drive programme. Her interview starts 2 hours and 12 minutes into the recording. Available for 28 days.

ITV Meridian: Natalie spoke on the local news programme shortly after 6pm. This is no longer available to view online.

Huffington Post: In her blog post Natalie summarises the information from all these interviews, including reiterating our call for Ms Rudd to do more to make Universal Credit work for those it is supposed to.
