A weekly community event, Monday 11-3 pm, the focus is to provide food, support, and a place to meet for destitute asylum seekers, refugees, those in need in the wider community. The Well project is joint initiative of Caritas and Ivy Church, which aims to encourage and support asylum seekers and refugees across the Wythenshawe neighbourhood to come together, learn English and socialise through cultural and social activities. It runs every Tuesday and Thursday 10.00-14.00. A Women's Group meets 10.00 - 12.00 every Friday.
The Trinity Centre is a Methodist charity that serves refugees, asylum seekers and others in need. Services include an organic community kitchen garden, Space 4 U, which is open every Monday and Thursday offering ESOL classes, recreational activities and games, and a family project run by the Welsh Refugee Council. The Sudanese Community Association of South Wales and STAR (Student Action on Refugees) also meet at the centre.
The Unity Centre gives practical support and solidarity to all asylum seekers and other migrants in Scotland. It also supports anyone detained in any UK Detention Centres, and operates a sign-in system for those reporting at the nearby reporting centre. The Centre is run by the Unity Centre Collective, and is open Monday to Friday from 10 to 6.

WAST is an action group for women asylum seekers who campaign together for the right to remain in the UK. They meet every Friday from 11 to 2 socially, and to plan campaigns and events. WAST is well known for its choir and drama sketches, and regularly takes part in refugee events and campaigns.
Women Asylum Seekers Together London is a group of women who have sought asylum in the UK. This is an open and inclusive group which welcomes all women at any stage of the asylum process to a weekly drop in, yoga, English classes and lunch. It provides opportunities for women to become engaged with campaigning with Women for Refugee Women, and other activities including dance, knitting and photography.
WTRRP offers practical and emotional support in West Hertfordshire to asylum-seekers refugees and those with no recourse to public funds (NRPF). Services include help with basic needs, form filling, ESOL and referrals for housing and legal advice.

We support Syrian refugees to settle in West Devon as part of the Syrian Vulnerable Persons Resettlement Scheme. We help to integrate them in the community by running a team of volunteers doing all the usual things plus a team specifically helping language development. To date there are three families here with a fourth expected shortly.
WERS offers practical help, advice and advocacy through daily drop-in advice sessions, run by WERS’ multi-lingual support worker and trained volunteers. The Wolverhampton Church Shelter is a partnership between two churches, Tabernacle Baptist Church (TAB) and Grace Church, Wolverhampton. The shelter is now open all year and can take up to 20 rough sleepers.

WSSAG is a women-only self-help support group that meets on the second and fourth Saturday of each month. It offers a safe and secure women only space and a source of social and emotional support for each other. Refreshments are provided and travel expenses are reimbursed.

WRP is a group of concerned Christians, Muslims and others working together to help refugees. We facilitate family reunions by finding private accommodation for a refugee referrred to us. We lend them the deposit and rent, furnish the property from donated goods, collect the family from the airport and provide ongoing friendship and support.
WYDAN, the West Yorkshire Destitute Asylum Network, is a network of organisations and individuals committed to supporting destitute asylum seekers through partnerships, networking, information sharing and awareness raising. It runs a winter night shelter for destitute asylum seekers, hosted for 1 or 2 weeks at a time by churches and other organizations.
Yarl’s Wood Befrienders visit and support women detained at Yarl’s Wood detention centre in Bedfordshire. Volunteers provide emotional and practical support for detainees, helping them cope with the challenges of detention, reducing isolation, and improving their emotional well-being.The organisation has two staff and around 50 volunteers visitors.
The New Beginnings Project works with the refugee & asylum community in Blackburn with Darwen to enable them to help each other to settle into life in the UK. The project builds skills and confidence, reduces isolation and contributes to enhanced community cohesion. It delivers workshops on topics such as English language, British culture and Extremism.
Young Roots works with young refugees and asylum seekers to realise their potential through fun and educational activities, trips and 1-to-1 casework. The activities improve their social and communication skills: reduce social isolation and promote friendships: increase their support networks and ability to problem-solve.
