Refugee Council launches Infoline for Refugees and Asylum Seekers

The Infoline launched on the 1st October 2020 in response to the needs of refugees and people seeking asylum as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, subsequent Government lockdown and changes in service provision. This service has built on a previous Covid-19 Signposting Project in London. Through funding from the National Emergencies Trust, Refugee Council have been able to extend this service across the country.

The Infoline offers information and signposting that is relevant to the needs of those seeking asylum and refugees. It can help people to make contact with organisations and support by making referrals internally and externally. It does not provide advice or guidance. If you need advice and guidance, they will try to help you find a service that can help.

The infoline number is 0808 196 7272. Partners at Welsh Refugee Council and Scottish Refugee Council are also running helplines and their numbers are - Wales: 0808 196 7273, Scotland: 0808 196 7274

Please note that Migrant Help are the primary source of advice for people requiring help with their asylum claim and asylum support and can be contacted on 0808 8010 503.
