Toolkit for Supporting Afghan Refugees

The preface to the toolkit reads - "This toolkit has been prepared by the Mission and Public Affairs Division of the Church of England and the Diocese of Canterbury. We have been overwhelmed with messages from churches and individuals concerned by the unfolding situation in Afghanistan and asking what they can do to help. We hope that this toolkit will offer some tools to those wishing to navigate the challenging, yet light filling ministry of welcoming the stranger."

It includes an explanation of what is happening in Afghanistan, what the UK government is doing, and a range of ways in which Christians can be involved.

This includes practical help via financial and in-kind donations, prayer and theological resources and advocacy. It also has a list of links to local and national organisations that are involved in helping Afghan refugees.
