A Housing Practitioners’ Guide to Integrating Asylum Seekers & Refugees

This Guide is for housing practitioners working in Scottish local authorities, housing associations and the third sector who are assisting the integration of asylum seekers and /or refugees. It has been written by Scottish Refugee Council with the support of Scottish Government and published with the assistance of the
Chartered Institute of Housing Scotland.

Scottish Refugee Council works to ensure that all refugees in Scotland are treated fairly, with dignity and that their human rights are respected. They provide essential information and advice through their advice services, work to empower refugee communities and campaign for policy change, raising awareness about issues that affect refugees and asylum seekers.
